GOVAQUA Contribution form: Insights and examples of innovative water governance in Europe

We kindly invite you to participate in a survey for the GOVAQUA project – Governance innovations for a transition to sustainable and equitable water use in Europe (Horizon Europe 2023-2027).

More information about the project:  https://www.syke.fi/projects/govaqua https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/101086578

We invite you to share your insights and examples of innovative water governance practices that you have already put in place or are aware of with us. Our researchers will review your responses to identify potential case studies for more in-depth analysis of good practices. In the case of publicly available material verifying the success of the practice, we can also list them in a good practice repository the project is building.

*** Deadline for submission is 29 February 2024 ***

About the project:

GOVAQUA will – for the first time – define what sustainability transition means in water governance. The project identifies good practices required for the transition in relation to legislation and regulation, multi-stakeholder participation and collaboration, economic and financial instruments, and digital solutions for information sharing. These practices are systematically reviewed, analysed, and compared – and further co-developed, assessed and validated with key stakeholders in six real-world Living Labs in France, Finland, Spain, the UK, and Romania, and transnationally between Finland and Sweden.
